Experienced founder in your corner

22 years building brands, products and agencies, including my own. Now I help founders think things through.

Building a business is exciting. It can also be lonely, and the decisions don’t get easier.

Sometimes it’s just good to talk

You can have plenty of people around you, but not many you can properly talk to about the business. Sometimes you need a second opinion, a different perspective or just to have a moan to someone who understands.

I’ve been there, and I enjoy those conversations.

And if I can’t help, there’s a good chance I know somebody who can. Sometimes the most useful thing I can do is make an introduction.

If you’re a founder and want someone outside the business to bounce ideas off, let’s talk.

A bit about me

I’ve worked in agencies and built my own from scratch, going from founder to leading a team of more than 20 people. Along the way, I’ve worked with founders all over the world on more than 100 brands, products and businesses.

I’ve seen a business through different stages: the growth, momentum and excitement when things are going well, but also downturns, changing markets and the difficult decisions that come with them.

Where I can help

Brand & Creative

When people don’t quite get what you do. Positioning, brand and websites that make an idea click.

Product & UX

Deciding what to build next, and making sure people can actually use it.

Growth & Ideas

Spotting opportunities around your business, in marketing, community and partnerships, not only inside it.

Running a Business

Teams, clients, operations, and the calls nobody else can make for you.

Founders shouldn’t have to figure it all out alone. That’s part of why I’m growing the Manchester Blockchain Alliance: a genuinely useful network for founders in Manchester.

Say hello…

No pitch, no strings. Just a coffee, a beer or a call, and a chat about what you’re building.
